Windows is activated!

Now the tedious process of moving over files begin.

Turns out if you buy XP Pro as OEM you can only activate it like 2-3 times after the first time. Worth remembering ;)

You can activate it by calling the activation phone number and talking to a living representative.

Kind Catherine in Northern Ireland helped me unlock my Windows. I asked her what this implied for future reinstallations and she told me that though I would have to talk to a living customer rep, I wouldn't have a problem unlocking Windows XP Pro later.
